Jim Norton mentions me on "That Metal Show" on VH1

While talking about meeting KISS, comedian Jim Norton mentions me.  I introduced him to KISS  - this was around the time I was dealing with Gene Simmons regarding a songwriting/record deal.

"Take Me Away" on Simmons Family Jewels tonight! Wendy's song "Take Me Away" will be sung by Sophie Tweed-Simmons tonight on A&E's Simmons Family Jewels.  The episode is "Raw and Uncut" on at 9:30 PM EST/8:30 PM CST.  It will repeat at 1:30 AM.

In the footsteps of David Hasselhoff... An interview I did while I was in London last summer with journalist/photographer Volker Gebhart appeared in 9 German newspapers today. He will be sending me copies, so I'm going to learn German ASAP so I'll be able to read what I said. ;) I'll post it here as soon as I get it.

Ronnie Spector Xmas Shows this weekend! - Hi everyone, Just a little update on what I’m up to: 1. I am honored to be in Ronnie Spector's backing band again this year (last year I played keyboards, this year I'm singing backup vocals) - we're playing at BB King's in New York this weekend (see my gig listings on my website or myspace for details). 402007c.html We recently went over the vocal harmonies at my apartment - Ronnie was sitting in my living room! I was pretty thrilled...(and suddenly self conscious about all the Beatles memorabilia I had all over the place, since she used to hang with them...) This show is going to rock! Come on down if you can!

2. I’m performing “Tiny Dancer” at The Loser’s Lounge Tribute to Elton John on Dec. 14th and 15th (check gig listings for details). I used to sing that one all the time when I was the “piano girl” at Stonewall Bistro.

3. I’m working on the new album…goal release date: sometime in February 2007. Stay tuned! And due to the rave response to the keytar at my last show, there will be keytar all over this album.

4. Yes, yes – I was indeed CUT from the HGTV Domino special! Thank you so much to those of you who tried to watch me on it and emailed me in confusion. (Grrrrr….I guess I belong more on VH1/MTV anyway…BTW, the VH1 show I was on a couple of years ago was called “Bad Girls” and now I’m singing with Ronnie Spector, the original “Bad Girl of Rock ‘n Roll” – coincidence?!...;) )
